If you have already placed an order for a BlackBerry device and the unlock process was unsuccessful please try the following steps:

STEP ONE: Check the accuracy of the IMEI you submitted

Visit the check order page and search for your order with your billing email address. Please verify that the IMEI you submitted is accurate with your device. To retrieve your IMEI please dial *#06# from your device.

STEP TWO: Submit for a new Unlock Code retrieval with PRD Search

In some cases we are able to retrieve a new unlock code when you provide your PRD number & other information.

Please provide the following to our live chat support team:

1. Confirmed IMEI
2. Exact Model Number
3. PRD Number (see below)
4. Original Carrier
5. Original Country

Your PRD number is located on the rear of the device, under the battery.
It could take up to 24 hours to retrieve a new unlock code for your BlackBerry.

2: Please be sure that the IMEI you get when typing in *#06# is the same as the IMEI under your battery. Likewise, it must be EXACTLY the same as the IMEI in your order.

LG Unlock Code (WHICH DO YOU USE FOR YOUR PROVIDER)?

Most Networks = Unlock Code can be 8 or 16 digits Usually NCK (Network)
Fido/Telus/METROPCS/Tesco = REQUIRE both the Unlock Code and the Service Provider Codes (NCK AND SP_UNLOCK)

With LG – Different phones have different Unlock Code Input Instructions, Try the following Instructions in Order:

Method #1 Insert a non accepted simcard, and enter code when prompted for a code

Method #2 Go to the dial screen and press “2945#*model number#”

for example if its a p999 you enter “2945#*999#” or if its a p990 you enter “2945#*990#” etc…

Method #3 to the dial screen and press 2945#*71001# as if making a call, enter code when prompted

Method #4 Go to the dial screen and press *#865625# as if making a call, enter code when prompted

If Phone says, “Code Accepted” or “Network Unlock Successful” or “Not Yet Personalized” your phone is fully Unlocked

1. Insert an Unauthorized Sim Card

2. Phone will display \”Phone Restricted\”

3. Select \”Cancel\” and phone will show \”Phone Restriction Code\”

4. Enter Unlock Code

Please try the troubleshooting steps below

Advanced method 1:

1: Ask for “alternate” codes for your phone. This often happens if you’re unlocking a phone by a sub-provider such as MetroPCS. (Now owned and on Tmobile Network)

2: Once you get the codes. Insert a non accepted simcard, and enter code when prompted for a code.

3: Enter (Defreeze then Network) and (Defreeze then Provider) and (Defreeze then Sub Provider.)

Advanced method 2:

1. Make sure that the phone PROMPTS for the code with a NON accepted sim card and that your IMEI is correct by dialing *#06#

a. Go to the Dial pad and dial *#197328640#

b. Please click on number [1] UMTS > [1] Debugging screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] NETWORK LOCK

c. You will see 3 options

d. Please click on number [1] Perso Sha256 INFO, the screen will change slightly

e. Please hit the MENU button then when the menu pops up please carefully hit BACK to return to the previous screen

f. Next Please click on number [2] Perso Sha256 ON, the screen will change again to a one line message

g. Restart the phone on the screen by holding the power button and click RESTART

h. When the phone prompts for the unlock code simply enter the unlock code provided to you

i. Your phone is now permanently unlocked!

Advanced Method 3:
1. Insert a foreign sim card (the sim card which is not supported with your phone)
2. The phone should ask for an unlock code
3. Enter Unfreeze or Defreeze code ( unsuccessful message may appear )
4. Enter NCK or Network code
Your phone is now unlocked

Advanced Method 4:
If your phone does not ask for an unlock code:
1. Turn on the phone with original Sim card or without Sim card
2. Enter #7465625*638*NCK/Network# (the first code you received from us)

Solution for “Network Unlock Unsuccessful” or “Code Error”

First check the IMEI you provide by type *#06# on the phone. If you provide the correct IMEI, then continue.

Troubleshoot Guide Solution #1 (ANDROID PHONES: Samsung Captivate i897, Vibrant, ETC)

Samsung Alternate Unlock Instructions:

1. Start the phone with non-accepted sim (click “Dismiss, and go to dialer), also make sure your Wifi is off.
2. In the phone dialer press *7465625*638*#
3. You will see a pop up window and in it enter the MMC/MNC code for the provider you want to use phone. (eg. 310260 for T-mobile USA, 310410 or 310380 for ATT)

4. in CONTROL KEY field enter the Network Unlock code. Press OK and “Network Lock Successful” Message should appear.

Phone freeze is a result of the incorrect code being inputted incorrectly too many times, which means your Samsung device is Hardlocked. You will require a Defreeze code and a Network Code to Unlock your phone.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on all Samsung Models

Different phones have different Unlock Code Input Instructions, Try the following Instructions in Order:

Method #1
Insert a Non accepted simcard in your phone and power on. Once finished loading your phone will ask you to enter a code, enter the Unlock Code

* 90% of Models will use this method!

Note: Non Accepted Simcard is any simcard not from the original provider

How to restore an iPhone from recovery mode

Recovery Mode is what your iPhone goes into when you are doing a standard iOS upgrade or restore, but you may want to put your iPhone into recovery mode for other reasons too.

It may be required when:

Your device continually restarts but never displays the Home screen.
An update or restore did not complete and the device is no longer recognized in iTunes.
Stops responding, showing the Apple logo with no progress bar or a stopped progress bar, for over ten minutes.

Please note:

This should only be performed if a standard back up & restore fails.
You may not be able to recover data from an iPhone if you restore from recovery.
Your iPhone may be reset to factory settings. Perform at own risk.

You may want to know:

In certain situations, an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch will automatically go into recovery mode after an update or restore issue. If your device is already in recovery mode, you can attempt to restore using iTunes.
If iTunes displays an alert with an error code, see this article before attempting the steps outlined here.
Recovery Mode is different than DFU mode because DFU mode bypasses the bootloader which allows for things like downgrading firmware. You can not downgrade firmware with Recovery Mode, you can only upgrade or restore.
Restoring your iPhone via recovery mode will delete all data on the device (if you go through the entire process; exiting recovery mode before completing a restore leaves your data intact), so it’s best to sync the device to backup your data, if you can, before following these instructions. But if you had previously synced with iTunes on this computer, you can restore from a previous backup. For the restoring process, see this article for more information.

Steps for entering Recovery Mode:

Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.

Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer’s USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Note: If you see the screen pictured below, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then start with step 2 again.

4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the “Connect to iTunes” screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button:

Note: If your home button is unresponsive and you are stuck at the screen with the Apple logo, you may try some softwares like Tiny Umbrella or RecBoot which can bring Apple to recovery mode without the need to press home button. But if this don’t work then you must first get the home button repaired in a hardware shop and then proceed with other software junks. If this fails too, you may need to re-install the iOS firmware.
