NEW Samsung Troubleshooting

PLEASE NOTE:

1:  Please be sure you are using the factory ROM software.

2: Please be sure that the IMEI you get when typing in *#06# is the same as the IMEI under your battery.  Likewise, it must be EXACTLY the same as the IMEI in your order.

Please try the troubleshooting steps below

Advanced method 1:

1:  Ask for “alternate” codes for your phone.  This often happens if you’re unlocking a phone by a sub-provider such as MetroPCS. (Now owned and on Tmobile Network)

2:  Once you get the codes.  Insert a non accepted simcard, and enter code when prompted for a code.

3:  Enter (Defreeze then Network) and (Defreeze then Provider) and (Defreeze then Sub Provider.)

Advanced method 2:

1. Make sure that the phone PROMPTS for the code with a NON accepted sim card and that your IMEI is correct by dialing *#06#

a. Go to the Dial pad and dial *#197328640#

b. Please click on number [1] UMTS > [1] Debugging screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] NETWORK LOCK

c. You will see 3 options

d. Please click on number [1] Perso Sha256 INFO, the screen will change slightly

e. Please hit the MENU button then when the menu pops up please carefully hit BACK to return to the previous screen

f. Next Please click on number [2] Perso Sha256 ON, the screen will change again to a one line message

g. Restart the phone on the screen by holding the power button and click RESTART

h. When the phone prompts for the unlock code simply enter the unlock code provided to you

i. Your phone is now permanently unlocked!

 

Advanced Method 3:
1. Insert a foreign sim card (the sim card which is not supported with your phone)
2. The phone should ask for an unlock code
3. Enter Unfreeze or Defreeze code ( unsuccessful message may appear )
4. Enter NCK or Network code
Your phone is now unlocked

Advanced Method 4:
If your phone does not ask for an unlock code:
1. Turn on the phone with original Sim card or without Sim card
2. Enter #7465625*638*NCK/Network#  (the first code you received from us)
Your phone is now unlocked.

Advanced Method 5:
If your phone does not ask for an unlock code:
1. Turn on the phone with a foreign (Unaccepted) sim card
2. Then enter the following sequence:
#0199*Unfreeze/Defreeze#
#0111*NCK/Network#
#0121*SCK/Subprovider#
#0133*SPCK/Provider#
Your phone is now unlocked.

Solution for “Network Unlock Unsuccessful” or “Code Error”

First check the IMEI you provide by type *#06# on the phone. If you provide the correct IMEI, then continue.

Troubleshoot Guide Solution #1 (ANDROID PHONES: Samsung Captivate i897, Vibrant, ETC)

1. Turn the phone Wi-Fi OFF and then turn device ON without SIM card.

2. Type *7465625*638*#

3. You will see the NETWORK LOCK screen4. In MCC/MNC field, enter MCC/MNC code for the provider you want to use. (example: enter 310260 if you want to use this phone for T-mobile USA Sim Card; 310410 or 310380 for AT&T). Check this link for complete MCCMNC for your provider: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Network_Code (It is very important to try all the MCC/MNC code if your New Sim Card Network has more than one code)

5. In CONTROL KEY field, enter the Unlock Code

6. Press OK

7. You should get a message: LOCK SUCCESSFUL

8. Turn off your phone, insert your New Network Sim Card and power ON. The phone should be unlocked. If this solutions does not work for your phone; Go to Solution #2

Troubleshoot Guide Solution #2 (You will require a Defreeze (Unfreeze Code), or MCK code for this solution)

1. Insert an Unauthorized Sim Card and power ON your phone. You will see “SIM Network Unlock PIN” or “Enter Network Lock Control Key” on the screen.

2. Type your Defreeze Code (MCK Code) and hit Unlock button. You will get a “Unsuccessful” message but don’t worry, this is normal.

3. Now type the Unlock code (Network or NCK Code) and hit Unlock button. If the phone say “Network Lock Successful” it worked and your phone unlocked. But if not, go on to step 4.

4. If you get “Unsuccessful”, hit Dismiss button and type *2767*3855# on phone keypad. (CAUTION! This will reformat all your data!, you will lost all data on the phone.)

5. After phone restarts, enter the Defreeze Code (MCK Code) when prompted at “SIM Network Unlock PIN” or “Enter Network Lock Control Key” screen and hit Unlock button. You will get a “Unsuccessful” message but don’t worry, this is normal.

6. Enter the Unlock Code (Network or NCK code) and hit Unlock button.

7. Your phone should now say “Network Lock Successful”

8. Now your phone is successfully unlocked!

Troubleshoot Guide Solution #3 (You will require a Defreeze (Unfreeze Code), or MCK code for this solution)

1. Power off and on your phone with different network sim card. “SIM network unlock PIN” or “Enter Network Lock Control Key” screen will appear.

2. Type your Unfreeze code (MCK code) and hit Unlock button. You will get “unsuccessful message” again but don’t worry.

3. Now type the Unlock code (Network or NCK code) and hit Unlock button.

*If phone say “Network Lock Succesful” it worked, but if not, proceed to step 4.

4. If you get “unsuccessful” again then hit Dismiss button and type *2767*3855# on phone keypad. (CAUTION! This will reformat all your data!)

5. After phone restarts, type the Unfreeze code (MCK code) when prompted to enter “SIM network unlock PIN” or “Enter Network Lock Control Key” screen and hit unlock button.
It will say “unsuccessful” again, don’t worry!

6. Type the Unlock code (Network or NCK code) and hit Unlock button.

7. Your phone should now give you the message “Network Lock Successful”

Now your phone is successfully unlocked!

Model: SGH-A127, SGH-E840, SGH-F210, SGH-J600, SGH-T749

1. Turn ON your phone without Sim Card
2. Type #0111*CODE# (CODE is the Unlock Code I sent you)
3. Device should say “Network Lock Deactivated”
4. The phone may reboot and the unlock is completed
Model: SGH-A877

1. Insert an Authorized Sim Card and turn ON your phone
2. Device must be in Portrait mode. Hit the Dial button on the touch screen.
3. Type #7465625*638*CODE# (CODE is the Unlock Code I sent you)
4. Device should say: “Network Lock Deactivated”
5. Phone may automatically reboot

Model: A737, A777, Blackjack SGH-i607, SGH-i616, SGH-i617, SGH-i627, SGH-i637, SGH-A877

1. Insert an Authorized Sim Card and turn ON your phone
2. Type #7465625*638*CODE# (CODE is the Unlock Code I sent you)
3. Device should say: “Network Lock Deactivated”
4. Phone may automatically reboot

Model: Most Non Android Samsung

1. Insert an Unauthorized Sim Card and turn ON your phone
2. Phone will ask for “Password”
3. Enter Unlock Code

Or

1. Insert an Unauthorized Sim Card and turn ON your phone
2. Type #0111*CODE# (CODE is the Unlock Code I sent you)

 

PHONE FREEZE: SIM Unavailable

1. Insert an Unauthorized Sim Card and turn ON your phone so phone displays “Phone Freeze, SIM unavailable. Please contact service provider”
2. Enter MCK (Defreeze Code) and press “OK”, “Confirm” or the center button (no digits will be seen on display when entering this code)
3. Now phone will ask you for Network Code, enter NCK (Unlock Code) and press OK.
4. If nothing happens when you enter NCK (Unlock Code), you will need to compose code like this: #7465625*638*CODE# (CODE is the Unlock Code I sent you)
5. Now your phone should be unlocked.

Note. If phone does not accept NCK (Unlock Code), and still have no luck with #7465625*638*CODE# (CODE is the Unlock Code I sent you), please try step 4 using MCK (defreeze code)

To solve “Phone Freeze” or “Return for service problem”

1. Insert an Unauthorized Sim Card and turn ON your phone
2. Enter “Defreeze” Code (it will not be visible) and click OK key. (If you purchased our Samsung Factory method, then the “Freeze Code” is also known as Defreeze Code)

Or

1. Insert an Unauthorized Sim Card and turn ON your phone
2. Screen will display “Phone is freeze / SOS”
3. Type the Defreeze Code (Nothing will show on screen)
4. Hit the “Enter Button”
5. Phone will ask for the Network Lock Code
6. Enter Unlock Code
7. Phone will be unfreeze and unlocked

Samsung Alternate Unlock Instructions:

1. Start the phone with non-accepted sim (click “Dismiss, and go to dialer), also make sure your Wifi is off.
2. In the phone dialer press *7465625*638*#
3. You will see a pop up window and in it enter the MMC/MNC code for the provider you want to use phone. (eg. 310260 for T-mobile USA, 310410 or 310380 for ATT)

4. in CONTROL KEY field enter the Network Unlock code. Press OK and “Network Lock Successful” Message should appear.

5. Restart the phone.

If phone asks for unlock code again, input code and that should unlock it.

If this doesn’t work, please repeat steps without a SIM card.

Samsung Phone Freeze

“Phone Freeze” Message What do I do?

Phone freeze is a result of the incorrect code being inputted incorrectly too many times, which means your Samsung device is Hardlocked.  You will require a Defreeze code and a Network Code to Unlock your phone.

* If you received multiple codes from us in the format below, use the Phone freeze instructions above.
Example:

NETWORK=xxxxxxxx; PROVIDER=xxxxxxxx; SUBPROVIDER=xxxxxxxx; DEFREEZE=xxxxxxxx

* If you received a Single code from us, you only have the network code.  If you are receiving the “phone freeze” message, you will require a Defreeze code from one of the manufacturer methods.

How to Enter Defreeze Code for “Phone Freeze” Samsung Devices (only if your Samsung is Hard locked)

1.Input a non-accepted simcard into the phone.
2.Proceed to the dial screen.
3.Enter the defreeze code (Freeze code) and press enter, or okay.
4.The screen should now ask for the unlock code (Network Code).  Enter the 8 digit unlock code and hit enter.

OR

1. Turn phone on with an unaccepted simcard
2. Screen will display “Phone is freeze / SOS”
3. Type the unfreeze code (Nothing will show on screen)
4. Hit the “Enter Button”
5. Phone will ask for the Network lock code
6. Enter it as you have received it
7. Phone will be unfreeze and unlocked

Samsung Code Error

“Code Error” or “Sim Network Unlock Unsuccessful” What do I do?

* Please check your IMEI number by pressing *#06#, this is the most common reason the code doesn’t work. If the first 15 digits which appear is different from the 15 digit IMEI number provided above, please reply directly to this E-mail.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on all Samsung Models

Different phones have different Unlock Code Input Instructions, Try the following Instructions in Order:

Method #1
Insert a Non accepted simcard in your phone and power on. Once finished loading your phone will ask you to enter a code, enter the Unlock Code

Go to the dial screen on your phone as if you are going to make a call and press:

Method #4
Go to the dial screen on your phone as if you are going to make a call and press:

#7465625*638*# Once prompted for code, enter the 8 digit Unlock Code.

If Phone says, “Code Accepted” or “Network Unlock Successful” or “Not Yet Personalized” your phone is fully Unlocked

*If you are not receiving any signal after unlocking, make sure your wireless connections are turned on after unlocking the phone. Also pull the battery and restart phone.

If you only received 1 Unlock Code, Don’t worry about this part, use the code provided above.

* Unlock Code is  the  Network=xxxxxxxx is the Unlock Code as shown below:

Example:

* You can ignore the rest of the codes, unless you are receiving a “Phone Freeze” message when trying to input the Unlock Code.

How do I know my Phone’s Network is Fully Unlocked?

Go to the dial screen on your phone, and press *#7465625#

A menu will be displayed that will resemble the following…

1. [ ] Network lock
2. [ ] Subset lock
3. [ ] SP lock

If everything if OFF, then your phone is fully unlocked.
